Meeting Report Saturday 12th April 2025 - Leigh Preston
For Chris and I, our meeting on Saturday was a good example what we had hoped to provide for the group. Leigh Preston shared some 200 images covering many areas of his photography with a passion and enthusiasm that was infectious.

Leigh's gentle informative yet humorous stories and explanations regularly got a chuckle from the large audience, and this simply amplified our enjoyment and appreciation of the images. Also examples of an initial flat plain scene that with a few changes in a raw editor software could be changed into a powerful dynamic result, was a reminder how we all may have great images waiting to be revealed with a little post processing. Many also took the opportunity to purchase a book, we will certainly enjoy reading ours and seeking inspiration from Leigh's images.
Leigh himself has given us feedback on how he enjoyed our company, and the highest accolade of all was him saying 'if only he lived closer, he would regularly attend our meetings'. It was also rewarding for us to personally receive so many of your thankyous at the end of meeting.
